Fix your AI-generated app and get it ready for real users
If you built an app with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor or another AI tool and it breaks as soon as real users arrive, our App Rescue service audits, fixes and deploys it for $2,900 fixed price in 1 to 2 weeks. You get a written code and security audit, fixes for the bugs that block launch, authentication, payments and data done properly, a production deployment and handoff notes. A working preview of the fixed app arrives within 5 business days of the deposit, or you get the deposit back.
The gap in this market is wide. Specialist rescue firms such as MetaCTO quote $50,000 to $150,000 and say they are not a fit under about $40,000. At the other end, micro-shops sell $50 per bug or $300 audit-and-fix packages that rarely cover security. We sit in the empty middle at a price a founder can approve without a board meeting.
What is included
- A code and security audit with a written report
- Fixes for the bugs that block launch
- Authentication, payments and data done properly
- Production deployment to your own accounts
- Handoff notes for whoever maintains the app next
- The 30-day bug warranty on the delivered fixes
What is not included
- A full rewrite. If the audit finds the foundations unsalvageable, we say so and quote a rebuild separately.
- New features. We fix and finish what exists. Additions are quoted in writing.
- Redesigning the interface from scratch. Visual polish that blocks launch is fixed, but a redesign is separate.
- Recovering data you have already lost, or fixing third-party outages.
- Guaranteeing zero vulnerabilities. We reduce risk and document what remains, and we do not claim certifications.

How a rescue project runs
- Day 0: Deposit, then you grant read access to the repository and the services it uses. We log what you want the app to do and which bugs hurt most.
- Days 1 to 3: The audit. We read the code, run it, probe the auth and database access, and rank issues by severity. You receive the written report.
- Days 3 to 5: Fixes for the highest-risk problems begin. By business day 5 you have a working preview of the repaired app.
- Week 2: Remaining launch blockers, payments and data cleanup, staging check and production deployment, then handoff notes.
Example rescues this package fits
- For example, a Lovable-built marketplace where sign-up works but any logged-in user can read other users’ records because database rules were never set.
- For example, a Bolt prototype that takes Stripe payments in test mode but breaks when a webhook arrives twice, creating duplicate orders.
- For example, a Cursor-built SaaS dashboard that works locally but fails on deployment because environment variables and secrets were pasted into the source.
- For example, an app a previous contractor left half-finished, with no tests, no README and a database nobody understands.
These are illustrations of scope, not past client work.
Technology we typically see and use
AI-built apps are usually React or Next.js front ends on Supabase or Firebase, with Stripe payments. We work with what you have rather than rewriting it, and we move to TypeScript, standard patterns and Postgres access rules where needed. Fixes go on a branch in your GitHub, and deployment uses your hosting account. If a different stack is needed for a specific part, we explain why first.
How “AI-built, human-verified” applies to a rescue
This is the service where human review matters most, because the problem is what happens when nobody reviews AI code. A senior engineer reads the code, tests authentication and authorization by trying to break them, scans for exposed keys and vulnerable dependencies, checks that payment events are handled once and only once, and reviews every fix before it ships. Agents speed up the repairs and the test writing. The audit report states what was verified, so you know what is safe and what is not.
The main objection: should I rescue this app or just rebuild it?
The honest answer depends on the audit, and we do not decide in advance. Rescue is the better path when the data model is sensible and the problems are in auth, payments, deployment or edge cases, which is common. A rebuild is better when the foundation is tangled in ways that make every fix expensive. At $2,900, finding out costs far less than guessing. If the report says rebuild, you can brief any developer with it, including us through MVP development. Our MVP development cost guide shows what that route costs.
When this is not the right fit
Rescue does not suit an app that has not been built yet, or one whose main problem is that users do not want it. Fixing code cannot create demand. It also does not fit a very large codebase with years of history and multiple teams, where an audit alone is bigger than this package. If your app handles regulated data such as health or card data directly, tell us first, because the audit will flag what needs specialist attention beyond our scope.

Questions people ask
How much does it cost to fix an AI-generated app?
App Rescue is $2,900 fixed price. Agencies that specialize in rescuing vibe-coded apps often quote $10,000 to $50,000 or more, while micro-shops charge $50 to $999 for narrow fixes.
How long does a rescue take?
1 to 2 weeks. You get a working preview of the fixed app within 5 business days of the deposit, or the deposit is refunded.
Which tools do you work with?
Apps built with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, v0, Replit or a previous developer. If you can export the code or connect it to GitHub, we can review it.
What do I get in the audit?
A written report on code quality and security: authentication, authorization, exposed keys, database access rules, payment handling, dependencies and data handling. It lists what is broken, what is risky and what we fixed.
What if the app is beyond saving?
The audit tells you honestly. If a rebuild is the better path, the report says so and explains why, and you decide whether to commission one. Our MVP package starts at $6,900.
Can you add new features during the rescue?
The rescue focuses on bugs that block launch, plus auth, payments and data done properly. New features are quoted separately in writing.
Do I keep my app, domain and data?
Yes. Everything is in your GitHub and your hosting accounts. We work in your repository and leave handoff notes for whoever maintains it next.
